stylus – 스타일러스

스타일러스는 텍스트를 작성하거나 선을 그리는데 사용되는 컴퓨터 입력장치이다.

이 용어는 전자 감응식 태블릿에 스타일러스가 부착된 CAD/CAM과 같은 그래픽 분야의 워크스테이션에서 처음 사용되었다.

후에, 애플의 뉴턴이나 3Com의 PalmPilot과 같은 포켓용 컴퓨터들에서, 스타일러스는 텍스트 문자나 단순한 그림을 작성하기 위한 장치로서 제공되었다.

오늘날 손으로 작성한 입력 내용을 받아들이는 대부분의 포켓용 컴퓨터들에서, 데이터 작성에 사용되는 도구를 스타일러스 또는 펜이라고 부른다.

       EXT. SAN FERNANDO VALLEY - NIGHT



OPEN on a MOVING WIDE SHOT of a mountain range with the

distant lights of the San Fernando Valley behind it.

BEGIN CREDITS as a NAVY JET drops down into the picture.

PUSH IN on the jet's exhaust flame. Have the words "THE

BLAST" come out of the flame. Then there is a SLIGHT

EXPLOSION and the flame intensifies. The words "FROM THE

PAST" jump out of the exhaust as the jet momentarily

shakes.


       INT. JET



The PILOT feels the jet shake. But he looks at his

indicators and everything appears to be normal. He

relaxes.
