[정보통신용어] 입도(粒度)

granularity – 입도(粒度)

입도는 어떤 객체나 활동을 특성을 나타내는 상대적 크기, 비율, 자세한 정도 및 표현의 깊이 등을 나타내는 말이다.

이 용어는 천문학, 사진술, 물리학, 언어학 그리고 정보기술에서도 꽤 자주 사용된다.

이것은 사진의 선명도 또는 사람의 일생을 묘사하기 위해 제공된 정보의 량 등과 같이 객체들이나 행위들에 대한 등급체계를 가리킬 수 있다.

그러나, 이 용어가 사용되는 상황에 정통하지 않은 사람들에게는, 그 의미가 항상 분명하게 다가오는 것은 아니다.

          EXT. REYNOLD'S EXTRACT BUILDING - DAY



An idyllic American factory. There's a huge, long lawn in

front. A Reynolds Extract sign in brick with

flowers/landscaping around it, sits near the entrance. We

see from the number of cars in the parking lot that it's a

company of about 50 - 75 employees.


          INT. REYNOLD'S EXTRACT BUILDING - DAY



We are in a manufacturing area of an assembly-line

production. It's a big room full of intricate machines, huge

vats of different colored extract and other food flavoring

products, conveyor belts, bottling machines, etc. It has a

high ceiling with offices on the second floor that have big

windows overlooking this manufacturing area.

We PAN up to the main office.
