MARINA DEL REY - DAY<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\nIt's raining lightly in the harbor and the<br \/>\nwater around the moored boats looks dirty and<br \/>\ncold.<\/p>\n<p>We PICK UP a sad excuse for a boat sitting in<br \/>\nan end slip.<\/p>\n<p>It's a sea-gull-shitcovered, thirtyfoot cabin<br \/>\ncruiser that hasn't cruised in a long, long<br \/>\ntime. A ratty looking unpainted plywood<br \/>\naddition has been nailed to the top of the<br \/>\ncabin. It's partially covered with a blue<br \/>\nplastic tarp.<\/p>\n<p><b>       SUPERIMPOSE:   MARINA DEL REY, CALIFORNIA -<br \/>\n<\/b><b>       FALL<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\nThe tarp moves and SHANE FALCO's half-naked<br \/>\ntorso emerges from under it. Shane is late<br \/>\ntwenties, golden boy handsome, but quickly<br \/>\ngoing to seed. He looks hung over.<\/p>\n<p>Shane glances up at the sky and rain. He<br \/>\npulls on the top part of an old patched wet<br \/>\nsuit and zips it up. He shivers.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n<\/b><b>EXT.
