A<br \/>\nlight comes on in a FARMHOUSE window. The door opens, a small<br \/>\ndog and a young girl emerge.<\/p>\n<p><b>                         GIRL<br \/>\n<\/b>          Go on now Paul, don't be long.<\/p>\n<p>The dog trots out across the property. It stops to scratch.<br \/>\nThe sounds of night cease. The dog stops scratching, sniffing<br \/>\nthe air, cocking its head, sensing something. We hear a low<br \/>\nhumming sounds. The dog looks up. We see a soft orange glow<br \/>\nreflected in its eyes. The dog whimpers<br \/>\nBack at the farmhouse, a deep, dull thud shakes the ground,<br \/>\nbringing the small girl back out onto the veranda.
