You kill it writing it down,<br \/>\nyou kill it with a camera; the film<br \/>\nmight come to life for a moment or two<br \/>\nwhen your actors breathe life back<br \/>\ninto it - but then it dies again,<br \/>\nburied in film cans. Mysteriously,<br \/>\nsometimes, in the editing room, a<br \/>\nmiracle happens when you place one<br \/>\nimage next to another so that when,<br \/>\nfinally, an audience sits in the dark,<br \/>\nif you're lucky -- very lucky - and<br \/>\nsometimes I've been lucky - the dream<br \/>\nflickers back to life again.
